Mission Statement
The mission of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center is to assist our local military veterans with job placement, filing claims with the Veterans Administration, help those veterans who find themselves in deep financial difficulties, and to shelter those honorably discharged veterans who are homeless.

Providence Home
Providence Home provides free short-term and safe shelter to Brunswick County youth who, due to an emergency, high-risk or crisis situation, cannot remain with their families. Providence Home is the result of the efforts of area churches, civic organizations, and volunteers. Grant monies, donations, and fund-raisers were combined to furnish money to purchase and renovate the old Dosher House near Southport into Brunswick County’s only emergency youth shelter.
